:: Installation Tips ::

  Close to the battery
    The fuse on the red wire should be closest to the battery. Place it in the last step of the installation. Remember, the fuse will blow if there are short circuits.

Away from the frame

  Try not to drill holes in the frame because it can create cracks later. You can probably find holes that are already in the frame that you can use to run and attach wiring. If you have no choice but to drill a hole, do it closer to the center as opposed to the edge.

  Another way
    You can also run wires under panels, tracks, and carpet, just check that they aren't where a screw can go through them and produce a short.

  Fresh air
    Make sure that you leave room for fresh air to flow around an amplifier. This will help to dissipate the large amount of heat that amplifiers produce.

  To ensure fresh air
  If the amplifier is to be mounted upside down, in a rack, under a seat, or enclosed, a fan or two might be required to ensure fresh air.
