:: Mounting Tips ::

   Leave room for air
     Make sure that you leave room for fresh air to flow around an amplifier. This will help to dissipate the large amount of heat that amplifiers produce.

  Staying cool

   If the amplifier is to be mounted upside down, in a rack, under a seat, or enclosed, a fan or two might be required to ensure fresh air.

   Avoiding noise problems
     It is good practice to mount the amplifier itself to a piece of wood or other non-conducting material. That way the only ground it gets is from the ground wire and not the mounting screws.
    :: Connection ::

   How to connect it
     Connecting an equalizer can be fairly simple. Power and ground wires do not have to be as large as amplifier's wires, since active equalizers use very little power.  Another thing to remember is that equalizers also need a turn-on wire from the head unit.

   Less noise
   Make sure to carefully rout RCA inputs and outputs.  Don’t worry too much about the low current power wiring from the equalizer, rather worry about the power wiring from the amplifiers. This will help you to reduce noise.
