Install the siren far from any
heat source like the exhaust manifolds, radiators, turbochargers and
heat shields.

thieves, so they won’t disconnect it easily. The siren and its wires
should be hard to reach without having under-hood access.

Install the LED

Indicator where it’s visible from both sides, and the rear of the
vehicle. Small removable switch or dash panels near the center of the
vehicle are good places.

hidden place where passengers and stored items won’t accidentally press

Install motion sensors.
They’re also a good choice if you drive a van or truck with merchandise
in it. The sensors go off as soon as someone enters your space.
