   Follow the path
     When inspecting the exhaust, start at the hood and continue until you reach the tail pipe.

   General maintenance

 

    Check for loose or damaged exhaust clamps and supports. Also look for holes in muffler or pipes. Replace rusted or damaged parts

   It is the law
     Have the emission checked at once per year for compliance with local laws.
    :: Fuel ::

   Better mileage
     Always use a multi viscosity motor oil. New modified or slippery oils are designed to improve mileage by as much as 3 to 8%.

   Just an advice:
   Regularly change spark plugs to save on fuel consumption.
