The fuse on the red wire
should be closest to the battery. Place it in the last step of the
installation. Remember, the fuse will blow if there are short circuits.
Away from the frame
Try not to drill holes in the
frame because it can create cracks later. You can probably find holes
that are already in the frame that you can use to run and attach wiring.
If you have no choice but to drill a hole, do it closer to the center as
opposed to the edge.
Another way
You can also run wires
under
panels, tracks, and carpet. Just check that they are not located where a
screw can go through them and produce a short.

Fresh air
Make sure that you leave room
for fresh air to flow around an amplifier. This will help to dissipate
the large amount of heat that amplifiers produce.
Keep it cool
If the amplifier is to be
mounted upside down, in a rack, under a seat, or enclosed, a fan or two
might be required to ensure fresh air.
