When verifying the level of
the brake fluids, make sure that the master cylinder is up to its level.
You might have to move the handlebars or stand the motorcycle upright.
Brakes that work
When refilling the master
cylinder, never let any water penetrate it. Water can lower the boiling
point of the fluid and can lead to non-operative brakes.
Clean the spills
Brake fluid spills on many
painted surfaces and plastic parts. Make sure to clean it up immediately
with a lot of water and mild detergent.
O-ring
Be certain that you’re
getting a strong chain for your bike. Some aren’t made for high horsepower or
high torque bikes and will just get used. Try to get an o-ring chain,
because it’s quieter and has a long life.
It is leaking…
If there’s a black ring of oil
on your fork tube, you have a leak. It will affect the handling and wear
out internal fork parts and bushings. The fork oil will leak on the
brakes affecting the brakes functioning.
