   Cutting pate
     For easier slicing cut it while it’s still cold.

   To take off any frozen juices from the pate

 

   Just rinse it and pat dry with the paper towel.

   Soft pate
     If you want the pate to stay soft while it’s baking just cover it with aluminum foil and bake it in a water bath.

   Making salad dressing
     The rule of thumb for making salad dressing is to use two or three parts oil to one part vinegar, lemon juice, or other acid.

   If you add too much dressing to a salad
   Just add more greens or other salad ingredients.
