When cooking steaks and
burgers, broil the second side less than the first. The second side has
already heated.
Buying the burger meat
Only buy hamburger meat that
has a medium to dark color as this will have less than 15 percent fat.
Hamburger that appears light pink has extra fat added to the meat.
For juicier hamburgers
Don’t make them too big.
Because they will need more time to cook and probably dry out the top of
the meat.

Cook meat or poultry on a rack
to drain fat off.
Reduce fat of ground meat
For lean ground beef, place
cooked meat on a towel to absorb fat. Rinse under running water to
remove even more fat.
