::Choosing speakers wires  ::

  CONTROLLING THE VOLUME IN DIFFERENT ROOMS

For wiring in-wall speakers, use 18-gauge at least for each speaker. If an in-wall volume control is desired in every room, wire to the control, then to the speakers.

  NEVER COMBINE WIRE COLOR ON A CONNECTION

Always have extra wire for all installations; and no matter the easiness of the installation, never change wire colors in the middle of wiring. Never connect any confusing wire tracks; this only will take more time and risk if in the future changes are needed.

  DO NOT REWIRE UNDER A FLOOR MAT

Do not cut corners by installing speaker wire or any other wire across the room and under a rug or floor mat; the constant stepping on the wires will rub the insulation off, which in turn it will become an hazard.

    :: Check the components connections ::

  CHECK THE COMPONENTS CONNECTIONS AS WELL

If a remote control does not operate a component at all, try operating the component manually and make sure that the component is properly plugged; also, check the remote control’s batteries.

  CHECK THE REMOTE CONTROL SWITCH WHEN MANAGING COMPONENTS

When a remote control does not work, check to see if the component you are trying to operate has a switch for manual/on/off/ or remote selections; if it does, choose the Remote selection.
