  Avoiding errors
    When filming, make sure the main light source is behind and to one side of the person filming, making sure that there is light on all seen areas of the objective without throwing shadows on the subject.

  Get familiar with the camcorders panel

 

  Learn the entire camera’s features; seasoned videographers know where to find the button needed to start desired effects; practice and learn every function. Learning where all the buttons are allows you to keep your eyes on the subject and not looking away for some buttons.

  Saving on film
    To produce videos that make more visual sense, film a little bit longer the subjects that take longer to be understood and a shorter time those subjects that can be understood quickly.
     

  Learn how to use the camcorder's basic features
    Learn how to pan, zoom, start and stop filming; a common video filming mistake is making constant movements and adjustments. When panning and zooming, use slow, smooth, and deliberate motions; this helps giving the video a more professional look.
