::Maintenance tips  ::

  Avoid permanent screen damages
    Be careful!!! Bright or static still images left on-screen for a long period of time may leave a permanently unwanted see-through watermark like shape on plasma displays; this disadvantage applies to all plasma monitors of any brand or price.

  RPTVs image tune up

  If after some use and maybe a move of house your RPTV doesn't look that sharp anymore, it may need an on-site convergence adjustment; TV screens are delicate to strong moves, therefore, having the TV tuned up at home is the best choice.

  Setting up a VCR
    The easiest way to connect a TV and a VCR is with RCA cables, with one video cable in yellow and two audio cables which are one red and one white; match the cable colors from the VCR’s outputs to the TV’s inputs.

  Upgrade the factory supplied cables
    Plasma displays are to exhibit the best image quality there can be; help this neat video component perform its best, by connecting it to other components only with higher quality wires; use S-Video or VGA to VGA, rather than RCA cables.

  Choosing a universal remote
  If you have a Home Theater system that is made mainly with the newer components from the same manufacturer or a leading brand, a universal remote control can do a very good job for managing the whole audio-video system.
