  Comparing TVs sound quality
    If you want to compare the sound of a TV at a store, take a DVD movie there and play a rather hectic and loud scene in a DVD player connected to the same TV you want to compare.

  4:3 image management

  As with rear-projection TVs and widescreen direct-view sets, plasma monitors add zoom and stretch features to fill the entire widescreen panel with 4:3 ratio images; this still requires some type of image chopping or image distortion.

  Do not overload electrical outlets
    Never put to work any wall outlet or extension cord further than their standing power limits, doing so, the electrical source turns into a highly electrical hazard able to cause melting outlets, fire and even possible accidental death.
    :: General tips ::

  Plasma TVs are just monitors
    As LCD TVs, plasma TVs are just monitors that display a video signal; to enjoy High-Definition broadcasting on a plasma display, the display must be connected to an external HD decoder box or Set-Top-Box if it does not have an internal HD decoder.

  Avoid permanent screen damages
  Be careful!!! Bright or static still images left on-screen for a long period of time may leave a permanently unwanted see-through watermark like shape on plasma displays; this disadvantage applies to all plasma monitors of any brand or price.
