:: Basic speakers tips ::

  Choosing your speakers
    The speakers you choose and how they are placed are the most important single factors that affect your car sound.

  Coaxial speakers

  Coaxial speakers have one driver in front of another, component speakers or separates have the drivers separate for separate mounting. More than anything the quality of the speaker and how it is placed will be the biggest factors for sound quality, finding a proper balance is more important than it being coaxial or component, but for flexibility in placement try component speakers.

  Factory speaker location
    You can use the factory speaker locations for simple up-grades, but for high quality systems it is recommended you use the kick panels that are found under the left and right sides of your dashboard.

  Using kickpanels
    When installing your car speakers, put speakers in the kickpanels. Speakers in the kickpanels will be more close to the balanced ideal of your home stereo system. The sound will be placed more in the center of your listening area instead of to one side.

  Custom kickpanels
  You can buy custom kick panel speaker pods for a variety of vehicles they range from 200 and up for the pair.
