   Icon.
     Usually a tiny picture or image displayed on a screen used to identify documents and programs in a computer. Icons are used to access programs or documents quickly, without having to type many commands. Icons may vary in image and size because the computer user can choose from many icons or even create his or her own.

   IEEE.

 

   An acronym for Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers; a based networking standard for computers operating a PC compatible system which is used as a two-way connection to transfer MPEG compressed data. IEEE technology was purchased by several companies which opted for a different name other than IEEE; it is also known as FireWire by some and as i-Link by Sony Corporation among others.

   Image stabilization.
     A camcorder or camera feature which helps reduce image movements that may appear on a picture as blurry or unclear images; this problem happens when the camera is not tripod mounted and it may happen more often when the camera is small and its light weight makes it harder to keep the camera still.

     This attribute bookmarks the beginnings of broadcasted programs; this is used to make easier finding programming desired to view.

     Cable system signal interferences.

   Interference.
 Loose energy which interferes with a signal reception; it may be energy from adjacent channels, signal echoes, or unshielded wire interference.
