  Watt.
    A unit that measures electrical power, power which is found by multiplying the amount of voltage by the current; a unit of electrical power.

  Wave.

 

  An acoustic, electromagnetic, electric or any other form of energy that increases and then decreases or expands and then compresses sporadically as a result of traveling using air, ground or any other means.

  Wire.
    A single, firm or stranded collection of conductors which have a low resistance to current flow; a cable utilized to create connections between two or more electronics or circuits.

Woofer.
    A powerful speaker that reproduces only low frequency signals; commonly found in Home Theater systems since the woofer produces the low frequency audio, allowing the other speakers reproduce the levels of audio they were designed to do.
