Store
silver jewelry in cool, dry places. If possible, in a tarnish
preventative bag or wrapped in a soft piece of felt or cloth. Always
store pieces individually so that they don't knock together and scratch.

Silver tarnishes when exposed
to light and air. Also never wear it in chlorine water.
Don't clean it when it damaged
If jewellery is damaged
(cracked or coarse), don' clean it. Like other items, it can worsen it's
case.

Truly sterling
Make
sure the item is marked with"925" or "sterling silver." This indicates
that it’s truly sterling silver. It also has to be written on the sales
receipt.
You need to know
Don’t
confuse "nickel silver" or "German silver" with sterling silver. These
don’t contain any silver.
