with increasing danger to the skin; UV-A, UV-B, and UV-C.
UVA
Ultraviolet light, type A. Rays
of light from the sun that aren’t visible but are harmful to the skin.
The estimated wavelength is 320 to 400 nanometers. They penetrate
profoundly into the skin. . Known as “The sun aging rays.”
UVB
Ultraviolet light, type B. Rays
of light from the sun that aren’t visible but are harmful to the skin.
The estimated wavelength is 285 to 320 nanometers. They cause cellular
damage to the outside layers of the skin. it is drying and it is aging.
Known as “The Sun burning rays.”
