For the best results, don’t get stuck in a routine. You could change the type of exercises you do, the equipment you use, the number of sets or repetitions you do, how much you lift, the days you work out and even the supplements you take.

Generally, you should change your routines every 2 to 6 weeks. Of course, this depends on your fitness level. Someone that exercises a lot should change his or her routine sooner. A beginner should wait until they are comfortable to make it harder.
