properly stretch your body before swimming. It avoids injury and cramps,
which usually happen wile
swimming in cooler water.
Eating
Swimming is not recommended on
a full stomach. You should wait for the body to digest properly. Since
the body is at "work" when digesting food, strenuous exercise and the
change in body temperature could prove very harmful.
Equipment
Goggles are necessary for sport
swimming. They protect the eyes from exposure to chorine and impurities
that can exist in the water, not to mention they let you see.
