Try to read the expressions
made by your opponent at the moment of attack. This will permit you to
better deal with your opponent.
Be Persistent
Push your body to perform. At
the point you feel that you should give up, tell your self that you are
only getting started. Remember the body is controlled by the brain.
Sparring
In-fighting or sparring is the
best way to know how well you master your technique. Try to step up in
competition when sparring. The better the competition you practice with
the better you will perform in actual competition. When working multiple
techniques with a partner, continually push each other to a higher
level.
:: Basic ::
Repetition
To successfully learn a
technique, you must repeat, review and slow down the speed of the
exercise. Start by learning the large (gross) body and directional
movements. Work the stances and the directional changes before the
hand techniques. Remember, the most important aspects is to develop body
memory through repetition.
Sportsmanship
Be responsible as an athlete
and as an individual. Remember you train hard and you must consider
that your skills might be superior to others. Be responsible, not
abusive.
